- Pilgrims in your congregation can direct their questions to you. If you do not have the answer then you will direct the question or the Pilgrim to the Via de Cristo Council.
- Provide application forms and other printed Via de Cristo information to Pilgrims and interested members of your congregation.
- Share information about Via de Cristo with those interested in attending a weekend.
- Be familiar with "Sharing Via de Cristo With A Friend".
- Provide Information received from the Via de Cristo Council to Pilgrims in your home congregation.
- Application deadlines.
- Dates of the Men's and Women's Weekends.
- Dates and times of Candlelight, Clausura, and Ultreyas.
- Encourage car-pooling to Via de Cristo events in other cities such as Trainings, the Weekends, and Ultreyas.
- Contact person for your Pastor.
- Keep the pastor informed.
- Help link up Weekenders and Sponsors.
- With the guidance of your pastor, sort weekender applications in order of priority for acceptance to the weekend.
- Send completed applications (Get Signatures!), sponsor sheets, and attached checks to the Via de Cristo Coordinator.

- Work with the pastor and church council in planning dates and facilities.
- Make the date and time known to your local community.
- Post announcement on your church's bulletin board.
- Post announcement in your church newsletter and bulletins.
- Notify the webmaster so it can be posted on the web page.
- (Optional) Send out a mailing of postcards to your local community.
- Make sure that all congregational members are welcome to attend the Ultreya.
- Find a reunion group or someone to organize the Ultreya
